Lindy AI: The future of productivity is now
Flo Crivello reveals how Lindy AI can streamline everything from recruiting to decision-making.

Flo Crivello isn't just talking about the future of AI automation - he's building it.
As the founder and CEO of Lindy, Flo is on a mission to make powerful AI agents accessible to everyone, not just engineers.
In our latest live workshop, Flo took me on an eye-opening tour of Lindy - and how it turns everyday tasks into streamlined AI workflows using the power of automation and AI.
The workshop is a must-watch for anyone looking to streamline their workflow, automate complex tasks, or fully harness the potential of AI in their daily operations
A quick summary of what Flo shared with us:
Real-world applications
Flo walked through several practical applications of Lindy, including:
- Recruiting automation: Lindy helps with outreach, scheduling, interview analysis, and even offer negotiations.
- Meeting assistant: Records meetings, provides summaries and coaching notes, and answers follow-up questions.
- AI focus groups: Simulates multiple personas to refine marketing messages and product positioning.
- AI-powered decision making: Creates debates between multiple AI agents to explore different perspectives on business decisions.
AI-native automation
One of Lindy's key differentiators is its AI-native approach. Rather than tacking AI onto existing automation tools, Lindy infuses AI throughout the entire product.
Flo demonstrated this with a simple example: handling reservation emails for his properties in the south of France. Normally this would be quite a complex task, parsing data from booking confirmation emails and populating them into a spreadsheet. But with Lindy, this was reduced to a simple, two-step workflow: filtering emails based on subject lines and appending the necessary data to a spreadsheet. No complex coding is required - just using natural language instructions to extract the relevant data.
"It takes like two minutes to create this," Flo explained. "I don't have to create another node in between for like, extract or like a parser. It's just truly AI native."
Maintaining context across conversations
Another powerful feature of Lindy is its ability to maintain context across long-running tasks.
“If you think of legacy automation platforms, say a zap - that’s just a thing that runs and then is over. Whereas most tasks in your business are long-lived; you may need to pick them back up at any point”, Flo pointed out.
He continued to show us a complex Lindy that he’s been building for several months - his “meeting recorder Lindy”. He walked through the workflow he was sharing on his screen: “Whenever I have a meeting, Lindy records it, then sends me a summary, then sends me coaching notes by email. After that, depending on what type of call it was, she goes and either disseminates the call notes on Slack or sends a further team email.”
There are so many potential applications where a Lindy like this would be helpful, but Flo specifically showed us how Lindy helps flag integration requests from customers.
“If customers request integrations that we don’t have, Lindy will report them in Slack. For example, it told us a customer asked for Zendesk and Airtable. And then we actually built those integrations after that”.
The coaching notes Lindy sends are useful too. “After my meeting, I receive these emails from Lindy that give me feedback. For example, it might say “The explanation of Lindy was a bit technical at times”. I can follow up right in that email thread and ask it what was too technical, and Lindy will reply.”
This persistent context allows for more natural, ongoing interactions with AI agents, rather than one-off automations. Super impressive!
Creating AI-powered focus groups
Flo went on to demo how he uses multiple Lindy agents interacting with each other to create AI-powered focus groups. There was a marketing focus group where the agents simulated a product marketing manager and two different user personas, all collaborating to refine a landing page. And an "AI console" where agents debated business decisions.
"They basically keep going back and forth," Flo explained. "At some point, it's like, 'Oh, victory!' The final positioning has been successfully refined, both of them are maximally excited and minimally confused. The debates are good. Very often they make very good points I hadn't considered."
This innovative approach to user testing and market research showcases the potential for AI to switch up traditional business processes.
The road ahead?
Flo hinted at exciting developments on the horizon for Lindy. From improved web scraping capabilities to more sophisticated agent-to-agent communication, I’m pretty certain Lindy is just scratching the surface of what's possible with AI automation.
Flo even speculated about a future where AI agents could handle entire business processes autonomously: "In the future, there's totally going to be a world where you have a Lindy that reaches out to an influencer to ask for a partnership and then the influencer has a Lindy answering that Lindy."
It’s a dizzying idea of the future of AI. And personally, I’m here for it.
