Importing and managing X bookmarks
Now that you're comfortable with the interface, let's populate your Supermemory AI with content. We'll start by importing your X (aka Twitter) bookmarks, which will give you a base of content to work with.
A. Installing the Chrome extension
To import your X bookmarks, we'll need to install the Supermemory AI Chrome extension. This tool will allow Supermemory AI to import your bookmarks.
- Head over to the Chrome extension page.
- When you find the extension, click "Add to Chrome".
- A popup will appear asking for permissions. Review these and click "Add extension".
With the extension installed, you're now ready to import your bookmarks.
B. Importing your bookmarks
Here's how to bring your X bookmarks into Supermemory AI:

Each memory will display:
- The tweet text
- The author of the tweet
- The date it was posted.
- Any media associated with the tweet (images, links, etc.)
Take some time to scroll through your imported memories. This will give you an idea of the kind of content you've been saving and help you start thinking about how you might want to organize it.
Adding and organizing memories
While Twitter bookmarks are a great start, Supermemory AI is capable of storing and organizing much more. In this section, we'll cover how to manually add memories and how to use Spaces to keep your information structured.

Supermemory AI also allows you to collaborate with others in specific spaces. This can be useful for team projects or shared research. Here's how:
- Open the space you want to share.
- Find the "Add user by email" field at the top.
- Enter the email address of the person you want to invite and click "Add".

Remember, this gives the invited user access only to that specific space and its memories, not your entire Supermemory AI account.
By using these features to add and organize your memories, you're creating a structured, personalized knowledge base that goes beyond simple bookmarking.
Searching and interacting with your memories
Now that we've populated Supermemory AI with content and organized it, let's explore how to effectively retrieve and interact with your stored information.
